Galleria Henkevän Silakan tavoitteena on koota laadukas nettitaidekokoelma. Jos taiteilija antaa luvan, teos saatetaan liittää pysyväksi osaksi Galleria Henkevän Silakan kokoelmaa. Kokoelman taideteoksille on taattu pysyvä näkyvyys. Kaikki galleriassa esillä olleet teokset eivät päädy pysyvään kokoelmaan. Kalenterivuoden päätyttyä galleriavieraat saavat äänestää kokoelmiin yhden teoksen vuoden aikana esillä olleista teoksista. Lisäksi Galleria Henkevän Silakan jury valitsee teoksia kokoelmaan.
The Gallery Spirited Herring aims to start a permanent net art
collection of high quality. With the artist's permission the artwork might
be included to the permanent collection of The Gallery Spirited Herring. Artworks
selected to permanent collections are guaranteed to have a permanent exposure.
All artworks will not be included in the permanent collection. In the end of
each year the gallery visitors are able to select one artwork presented in
the Spirited Herring exhibitions during the year by voting. There is also a
jury to decide possible other works to be included in the collection.
